Bob Hapuik called Cones the other day about the problem of my motorcycle only running on three cylinders. They (Cones) said to have me bring it in and look at it. I didn’t get a chance to take it in until today. Bob met me at Cones (for moral support). Mike said that he’d take a look at it. I’m to call him about Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Mike says that it’s running on all four cylinders. I wish I knew more about motors. I don’t know. I know that it runs pretty good, but it’s not as smooth as I’d like. The problem with the exhaust is from a blown exhaust donut on the right-rear cylinder. I don’t know how much money or effort that would take to fix, but I’ve got to do something. Mike Cone has the bike now. We’ll see what he says later this week.

Bob told me that the group decided on a date for the ride to the Talimena Trail. It will be October 20th! That’s the day that Matt and Aubrey have planned for their wedding. What luck. Oh well, I would rather see them get married than to go on a ride anyway!
