I’ve been off work now two and a half weeks. I’ve had some dizziness that wouldn’t go away. I saw Dr. Sisk and he said that it was some particles in my inner ear that have come loose and are running around the tubes causing information to be sent to my brain that is not correct. I have been taking some tranquilizers that Dr. Sisk prescribed and that has kept me from doing a lot. After a week, Dr. Sisk saw me again and I wasn’t any better, so he sent me to see Dr. Teller (an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist). He knew right off that Dr. Sisk was correct and did some “exercises” with me. This helped a lot. Dr. Teller told me to continue to do as little as I can, and we would have one more “exercise” session. This should cure it. Well, Dr. Teller was correct. I have not had my second session with him yet, however, when I have been awake, I’ve been doing a lot better.
I have to admit that I didn’t know what was going on and was a little concerned about what it might be. I didn’t know if I’d ever be able to work again and a lot of other things ran across my mind. Fortunately, I don’t have to worry any about that.
