This morning I downloaded Office 2007 Beta.  I’m going to try this software.  I know that OpenOffice is a great office suite, but I’ve been using Microsoft Office for so many years that I’ve grown to trust it.  I’ve not had any problems working with the suite and I have to admit that I am a little excited about the new way of working with the menus in the suite.

Just a few minutes ago, I opened Excel and my daily business journal.  The menus, well, my only comment is WOW!!!  For example, when you are looking to format a cell, the pull-down menu shows very large examples of what each function will make the format look like.  It’s great!  I can’t wait to play with the other software.  I’ll let you know.
