For the past two and a half days, I’ve been back on the job.  I like the money I make with this job, but I have no life!  I go to work and when I finally come home, I want to do a few things that I don’t get to do on the road.  I like spending time on the Internet and with my computers.  I want to spend time with my wife.  My computers are always available to me, but my wife works, so she is not.  It’s difficult.

Most jobs are go to work in the morning and get off in the late afternoon (8 or 9 hours later).  My days start early in the morning and finish normally after 12 to 14 hours later.  When I get home, it’s a week later and I only have 34 hours off (sometimes 48).  Weekends…  ????   What weekends????

Kathy told me yesterday that I don’t have to be a truck driver, but I have to be able to make as much money as I am now!  I can’t just walk away from this job.

How does one do this job and still feel like he has a life at home?  Anyone know?  If so, please let me know.  Thanks!
