When I was stationed in Germany, the unit was a mobile unit and we were often evalutated by deploying the unit to another location to see how good or bad we were. This photo was taken by me and it was the front cover of the Air Stations newsletter, called “The Northern Scanner”. On the inside of the newsletter, the article about our deployment had photos that I took. I was very proud of this. This photo is of the TPS-43E radar antenna being put away for transport to the deployment site. The photo was taken in the early 1980’s.
